MAKING THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE
"A Business of Character"
Whether it is by remaking the human-to-machine interface by applied Artificial Intelligence or by empowering dealers to provide effective e-Commerce to their consumers, Ai-Dealer is committed to making the world a better place.
We love what we do and by creating exciting and fundamentally new capabilities, we are seeking to improve the lives of everyone touched by the process.
Ai-Dealer feels so strongly about making the world a better place, that it has pledged itself to being a "Business of Character." If you are not familiar with this (unfortunately) all too rare an initiative, please take a few minutes and review the Character Council's charter and values. We whole-heartedly encourage you to reflect on the difference you can make in the world by joining or developing a local chapter in your community. Below is just one of the 49 values to which the Character Council and Ai-Dealer are pledged.
Character Quality of the Month
Decisiveness (vs. Procrastination)
This month, the Character Council is focused on Decisiveness – the ability to recognize key factors and finalize difficult decisions.
Good character decisiveness does not mean making rash decisions. Good character decisiveness means knowing what facts are important to consider, knowing the right decision to make and taking responsibility to see that decision through to completion.
To practice Decisiveness, “I will” statements for children and adults alike -- I will…
- Not look back
- Do what I say
- Make the right decision and stick to it
- Look at things from more than one point of view before making up my mind
- Not give in to peer pressure
This month at Ai-Dealer, we are thinking about Decisiveness as we go about our days and make solid, clear-cut decisions.
“Decision is a sharp knife that cust clean and straight. Indecision is a dull one that hacks and tears and leaves ragged edges behind.”
--- Gordon Graham
“Since we are what we do repeatedly, Excellence then is a habit not an act.”
--- Aristotle
“The greatest danger for most of us is NOT that our aim is too high and we miss it, BUT that it is too low and we reach it.”
--- Michelangelo
